Supermarkets

On Trg La Musa there is a small, well-stocked supermarket with a butcher's shop and bakery (Butiga Ultra, opening hours daily - in high season also on Sundays - from 07:00 - 20:00). A bakery and a mini-market (Studenac) are located at the bus stop near the school. On the road to the beach there is also a fruit and vegetable stall with home-grown produce in summer. For larger purchases, we recommend the supermarkets in Rovinj. Coming from Bale, there is a Lidl, Plodine and Konzum at the entrance to Rovinj.

Olive oil

There are several olive oil producers in Bale. Here you can taste the oils:

• Grubić: Aldo Negri 7, here there is also a small museum with olive oil mill
• Bembo: Trg Tomaso Bembo 14, Olive oils and olive products, also gift articles
• Maur: Braida 4, excellent olive oils with tasting room, at the car park below the Hotel La Grisa
• Meneghetti: Stancija Meneghetti, award-winning olive oils and wines with restaurant and hotel
• Veneranda: Small stall selling and tasting olive oil on the road to the beach

Wines

• San Tommaso in Bale-Golaš: There is also a small museum about viticulture. On request you can also eat here (only for groups)
• Stancija Meneghetti: award-winning wines and olive oils with restaurant and hotel
• Amfora: at Trg La Musa (opposite to the bus stop) wines, spirits, olive oils and more
• Bagolar at Trg La Musa (near supermarket Butiga Ultra): Wines, olive oils and other local products, including tastings

Agency Amfora

Our partner agency Amfora is located at Trg La Musa. Diana and Cristian Bissi are always available for information during your stay. Here you can carry out the guest registration, if this is not taken over by your landlord. You will then receive a registration form giving you free access to the beaches of San Polo and Colone.

You will also receive information material about Bale and a selection of Istrian products.
