30.07.2023 - Eigentlich hatten wir einen Urlaub im Salzburger Land geplant, aber nachdem ich im Frühjahr länger krank war, haben wir nach etwas mit weniger Wandern gesucht. In Istrien sind wir in den letzten 20 Jahren häufiger gewesen, und aus diesem Grund war mein erster bevorzugter Ort Bale. Eine schöne kleine Stadt, mit allen notwendigen Dingen vor Ort, und alles andere gut erreichbar. Also nach Ferienwohnungen in Bale gesucht und ziemlich schnell fündig geworden. Diese Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem schönen großen Balkon schien doch gut geeignet für den Urlaub. So war es dann auch. Die Wohnung war ideal für uns, auch wenn es natürlich immer was zu kritisieren gibt, aber nichts von den Kritikpunkten hat unsere Urlaubsfreude in irgendeiner Art und Weise geschmälert. Morgens konnte man zu Fuß zum Supermarkt gehen, der Strand war in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Nachmittags oder Abends war man mit dem Auto schnell in einem dieser schönen kleinen istrischen Städtchen oder man bummelt einfach eine Runde durch Bale. Zurück in der Wohnung sorgte die Klimaanlage für angenehme Temperaturen für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Als Fazit kann man sagen, dass wir einen schönen Urlaub hatten und sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung waren.

On arrival unfortunately there was no baby bed available so we had to do without it for the first night, but the day after it was fixed as soon as they could. The contact with our local host was really nice and the location is great. We really liked combination of quietness, but with lots of things to do in the area

17.06.2023 - Die Lage der FW ist sehr gut. Sie liegt super ruhig und enthält alles Notwendige. Wir fühlten uns in den 7 Tage Aufenthalt sehr wohl und würden gerne wiederkommen. 2 Gaststätten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Bale bildet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch der interessanten Städte in Istrien. Die Sitzgarnitur ist für ältere Personen leider etwas niedrig. Sonst passte alles.

28.06.2024 - Die ganze Familie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wie wir schon in den anderen Bewertungen gelesen hatten, fehlte es etwas an Küchenutensilien, z.B. Gläser, Schüsseln. Trotzdem waren wir sehr zufrieden und können die Wohnung jederzeit empfehlen. Sie ist auf jeden Fall für 4 Personen geeignet. Die Gegend um Bale ist einfach wunderwunderschön!

26.07.2023 - Bale ist ein traumhaft schöner Ort unf lädt zum Entspannen und Auszeit nehmen ein. Genauso wie die schön und funktional eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, in der wir uns vier sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, unkompliziert und auf Wunsch immer parat für Anliegen. Von Bale aus lässt sich unglaublich viel unternehmen und entdecken. Das war nicht unser letzter Urlaub in Istrien.

Der dazugehörige Strand Mon Perin (6Km entfernt) auch einfach nur Traumhaft mit einer top Strandbar und einem sehr empfehlenswerten Strandrestaurant. Danke an die sehr netten Gastgeber! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in der Studio Wohnung in sehr ruhiger Umgebung.

Das Altstadthaus wurde geschmackvoll und hochwertig modernisiert, ist blitzsauber und komfortabel. Die Kommunikation mit Christine und vor Ort mit Iva war sehr angenehm und hilfreich. Um es kurz zu machen: Ein tolles Ferienhaus, das wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.

29.04.2025 - Wir haben mit unseren zwei Kindern 5 Nächte in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Alles ist sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Direkt neben dem Haus gibt es eine Bar, in der sich abends Einheimische draussen treffen. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss öffnet sich direkt zur Strasse - man fühlt sich somit mitten im Geschehen. Von hier aus konnten wir wunderbare Ausflüge in alle Richtungen unternehmen.

15.04.2025 - Christine's villa is a beautifully renovated stone house in the old town. We were met by Iva at a nearby carpark and shown up to the villa. We were able to drive to a small square by the villa to unload and load the car. (I don't think this is possible in high season) The house is immaculate with everything we needed. We used the upstairs bedroom, there is another big double room downstairs so it would be perfect for 2 couples staying together. We weren't able to use the lovely outside seating area but I imagine it would be lovely in the summer! The villa is very quiet and there are several good restaurants nearby. There is a bakery and a small supermarket 2 minutes walk away. It was a great base for exploring the Istrian Pensinsula and we had some lovely walks right from the village.

08.10.2024 - So we traveled around Europe for two weeks. And we have five Airbnbs and a well known Treehouse, where we’ve done multiple Netflix shows(Alpaca Treehouse in the Bamboo Forest). We are extremely fussy and picky and this place is perfection. We stayed for six nights and this is the perfect homebase for exploring the Istrian peninsula. We loved the heated floors in the bathroom, comfy bed, great kitchen. We loved the medieval stone adorable town. We loved the jazz bars and local delicious restaurants.

26.09.2024 - Man sollte auf jeden Fall gut zu Fuß sein, da einige Treppen zu bewältigen sind. Das Auto muss etwas außerhalb abgestellt werden. Es gibt zwei sehr große Schlafzimmer mit Sitzgelegenheit und Bad im Unter- und im Obergeschoß, in der Mitte befindet sich ein Gäste-WC, Küche, Essbereich und 2er-Sofa. Alles voll klimatisiert. Wir (mein Mann und ich) waren mit einer Freundin unterwegs, somit war diese Aufteilung für uns optimal, da jeder seinen Freiraum hatte. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön und erweitert das Wohnzimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Bale ist ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge, da sowohl der Süden (Kap Kamenjak) als auch der Norden (Novigrad) in einer guten halben Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Wir haben unserer Freundin die Höhepunkte von Istrien gezeigt und waren von unserem Aufenthalt sehr begeistert.

10.09.2024 - ... which was a beautiful, quiet town with plenty of restaurants and bars and a perfect location for visiting the rest of Istria. The apartment is excellently situated near several restaurants, a cafe and a bakery. No cars allowed into the town but the parking was plentiful, free and only a very short walk away. We loved the area and would definite consider revisiting. The apartment is very smart and beautifully decorated with two really great en-suite bedrooms.

16.07.2022 - Ein ausgezeichneter Ort für Familien mit Kindern. Unser zweijähriger Sohn konnte um das Haus herumlaufen, wir haben seinen eigenen Pool aufgeblasen. Die Besitzer waren in allem zuvorkommend. Ich hatte meine eigenen Fahrräder und konnte sie mit in die Garage stellen. Bei der Ankunft und während unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir mit selbst angebauten Tomaten aus ihrem Garten beschenkt. 10 Autominuten zum Meer. Wir haben eine Seezugangskarte für die Unterkunft erhalten. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern ist ausgezeichnet, sehr zuvorkommend, angenehm und hilfsbereit.

26.06.2023 - Der Aufenthalt war einfach ganz toll. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und gleich zu einem Getränk eingeladen. Der Checkin verlief reibungslos und wir fanden die Wohnung so vor, wie sie auch beschrieben war. Das Haus liegt zwar direkt an einer Strasse, die jedoch nicht viel befahren ist. Unsere Wohnung lag zur Meerseits, sodass es hier absolut ruhig war. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Bars sind fussläufig in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Zur Altstadt sind es zu Fuss ca. 20 Minuten. Die Wohnungen werden von der Familie Radovan selbst betreut, sodass bei aufkommenden Fragen immer ein Ansprechpartner vorhanden war, der auch gerne Auskunft gab. Alles in allem, ein gelungener und erholsamer Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank der Familie Radovan.

22.06.2025 - Alberto is the owner of the apartment and he lives above, he was there to great me when I arrived. He showed me what I needed and was very friendly. Christine who is the agent suggested I communicate with Alberto by messaging him from my mobile which worked very well, great apartment for a visit to Bale and everything was great. The only downside for me was that noise travels very easily from the apartment above and next door. But it's still highly recommended!

09.08.2025 - Abbiamo soggiornato qui con la mia famiglia per una settimana. La casa era molto curata e pulita. La signora Nada al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare dei dolcini tipici. Ogni tanto ci dava qualche bicchierino di liquore tipico e i pomodori. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il frigo che non raffreddava che hanno prontamente risolto, fornendoci un frigo aggiuntivo.

29.07.2023 - Bell'appartamento a pochi minuti da Rovigno, pulito, arredamento nuovo e moderno, cucina ben attrezzata, i padroni di casa ci hanno fatto trovare degli ottimi cannoli alla crema al nostro arrivo, ci hanno anche portato un melone del loro orto e alla fine anche un graditissimo pensierino alla nostra partenza... Inoltre c'è anche un simpaticissimo micetto che veniva a salutarci tutte le mattine e ci aspettava al nostro rientro... L'unico consiglio che potremmo dare è quello di mettere una tenda oscurante sulla porta di ingresso per evitare di far svegliare gli ospiti la mattina prestissimo. Assolutamente consigliato, e penso proprio che ci ritorneremo

20.07.2023 - Upon arrival we were greeted in an excellent manner. We found a very welcoming host who let us find salami, cheese, sweets and a bottle of local oil. The place is clean and with really pleasant spaces. Unlimited access to a patio where dining in the evening was fabulous. Throughout the stay, the host was available to satisfy our small requests and to be honest, I really enjoyed the evening chats. A kindness and courtesy that I have never found anywhere. A well-stocked supermarket can be reached on foot but the area is a well-kept oasis of tranquility and relaxation. Before going, they gave us a gift of local lavender and I promised myself I would go back. If I could I would have stayed a little longer.

15.09.2024 - In September of 2024 I was lucky enough to have stayed here on my visit to Balle and I was thrilled! I was greeted with open arms and shown my beautiful apartment that I would be calling home for the next 5 days. This apartment was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It has all the essentials you will need. Anytime I had a need or question they were quick to help … they even helped me secure a taxi to the Pula airport when my cousins car died. The patio was such a beautiful treat to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The location was so very quiet and peaceful, I had some of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a very long time!

24.08.2025 - Con Christine abbiamo comunicato facilmente ed è stata gentilissima sin dal primo momento. Anche se non è stato necessario, sapevamo di poter contare su di lei. L'appartamento è piccolino ma molto curato e ha tutto quello che serve per due persone. Il paese di Bale è piccolo e quindi è tutto facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Oltre al mare, intorno a Bale si possono fare delle bellissime passeggiate o, per chi ama correre, delle lunghe corse.

24.08.2025 - The photos don't do justice to the beauty of this place. The apartment is located in a beautiful, stone-built village, just steps from a shop and restaurant. The garden features a swimming pool, sun loungers, and areas for relaxing and eating. Everything is well-maintained and spotlessly clean, with trimmed and fragrant trees and hedges. The apartment has all the amenities and is perfect for a family of four. We also received a card that allowed us to use the beautiful Mon Perin beach. Everything was top-notch.

10.08.2025 - Bale e’ un paesino davvero bellissimo ogni angolo era caratteristico..un piccolo borgo con al suo interno ristoranti, gelaterie e altri locali. L’appartamento di Christine è davvero molto bello, pulito e ordinato con tutto il necessario e il giardino con la piscina e gli spazi esterni comuni sono davvero una chicca!!! Christine è sempre stata molto gentile al telefono e ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni rispondendo ai nostri messaggi sempre in tempi molto brevi!!! C’è anche un trenino che parte dal paesino e ti porta in spiaggia!!!
